Have stayed at many 4 and 5 star hotels.  I love the cosy feel and comfort of Miss Maud and really appreciate windows I can open!!  The breakfast and dining selection is vast and excellent quality.  Keep up the good work, so many more can enjoy it.  It's a Perth gem!

Having lived in Denmark & Norway for 10 years, it has been lovely to be back in Scandinavian environment.  Our breakfast in Miss Maud's was delicious - we requested "sild" which we were readily given and bought a glass of Skane Aquavit to go with it - a trip down memory lane!

With the inclusion of the beautiful buffet breakfast, the hotel room rates are excellent value.  The rooms are clean and comfortable and the range of Foxtel channels is excellent!  Certainly the best value hotel room we've stayed in.

Buffet breakfast was AMAZING!!! and loved the little Miss Mauds bakery that was right next to the hotel so you could buy yourself a little treat. Bathroom was so clean and modern! TV was great: a HUGE flat screen with movie channel. Location was perfect... LITERALLY walking distance to city centre and train station. Highly recommend this hotel to all.  Very pleased and still stunned at how great my stay here was

I recently stayed at Miss Maud Swedish Hotel, from 27th October until early this morning 6th November. I would like to say I had a lovely holiday, and your staff were so helpful and polite. In the mornings at breakfast time, I don't think I have ever been welcomed so warmly.

I stayed in your hotel on 1st Nov.2009 for 3 days with seven girlfriends. We had a very pleasant stay and especially loved your breakfast. The food was always fresh and of the highest quality. We would like to thank your waitress Terese on the breakfast shift for making us feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she always had a happy smile on her face. We would definitely recommend your hotel to anyone going to Perth in the future.

Of all the hotels and motels we have stayed at (Australia and oversees), Miss Maud has the very best atmosphere and ambience - homely but professional - so unlike big chain hotels, which can be so impersonal.

Our stay here was a reunion and our interstate participants were so impressed by what Miss Maud had to offer. We appreciate Jean Rogers assistance in all areas - accommodation, attention to every details, including last minute changes.

Our visitors also remarked on your staff members' professionalism, which added to a successful reunion.

We would like to thank you for booking the rooms at Miss Maud Swedish Hotel for our four nights in Perth three weeks ago. We had the most pleasant stay there with its central location right in the middle of the city just a stone throw to the the shopping malls. Everyone at the hotel was very nice and treated us and every guest with such warm greetings and reception that we will make that our preferred hotel when we do visit Perth again. The rooms were just right in size and so appropriately decorated, it was really comfortable. We also thoroughly savour the breakfast buffet spread which is a gastronomical experience that we looked forward to daily.

Look forward to visiting you guys again.

My husband and I first came with our friends 6 years ago - within 2 weeks of my friend passed away - we have very special memories here at Miss Mauds.

Since then my mother and sisters and I have come at least once a year. My husband brings me as often as we can afford. Special occasions - sister's kidney transplant, daughter's baby shower (in restaurant) etc, anniversaries.

Thank you all staff - our rooms have always been very clean. Again thanks.

The staff of both the hotel and restaurant are extremely attentive to the guests' needs. Very professional and you are very lucky to have such good staff. We are very impressed. Also the room we had is very well appointed, great decor, fantastic bathroom, good sound proofing from the street. Much nicer room than the Hilton! Can highly recommend this to all my colleagues and friends.

To The Staff at Miss Maud. A big thank you for making our 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary on the Saturday 13th June a "Happy Event". Our bridal party all stayed over night (including) Mr and Mrs Ray and Nola Hill of Bunbury. The staff were so helpful and pleasant and we have told all our friends how great it was.

Had a wonderful time. Room was clean, fresh and the decor was lovely. Reception staff were helpful and very pleasant to deal with. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and both meals were excellent. Will come back as soon as possible as we enjoyed ourselves and could not fault your hotel.

Dear Miss Maud,

My experience with Miss Maud Swedish Hotel was way above my expectations. We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights in January 2009. I chose it because it is centrally located in the city, the price compared to other hotels in the area was good and the general positive reviews from trip advisors. The whole staff, from the hotel to the restaurant, are thoughtful and pleasant. They went to great lengths to make us feel welcome and were well trained, genuinely friendly, helpful and thoughtful. Our room was located on the quiet side, so we had a peaceful and comfortable sleep.

We had travelled from Melbourne that morning on the 6am flight and so had to wake up at 4am to prepare and catch the taxi to the airport. When we walked in at 9.30am Tracy the receptionist saw we had a baby and how tired we were. So she immediately arranged a room for us to check in (we were a few hours early, as check in time was 1pm). We had to print out a voucher, so she arranged for it to be emailed to the hotel's address and then she printed it out for us, at no charge!! Tracy did this all with a pleasant attitude.

The wedding started at 1.30pm so we stayed in the hotel all day to get ready and had the 'Do not disturb' sign up. The cleaner, Myrina who was finishing her shift at 1pm slipped a note under the door and said she was going home and to ask for any toiletries we needed at the front desk. I told her I didn't mind her cleaning while we were in the room. So she quickly made our beds and the baby's cot, gave us clean towels and some toiletries. She was chatting to us about the wedding and our son happily (after her shift had finished!!!).

The buffet breakfast at Miss Maud Restaurant was superb. It had a variety of food to enjoy. There was a waitress, Teresa who has to be one of the best services we've ever had. We were greeted with a smile and she gave my son a balloon every morning. She would make sure our table was tidy and cleared the used plates away efficiently. It felt like she took special care of our table. On the last day, she was so nice and gave us all hugs, a present and a card for being lovely guests!!!

I was most impressed with Miss Maud Swedish Hotel. I would absolutely recommend this accommodation to anyone. Thank you to all the staff at Miss Maud Swedish Hotel and Restaurant, your service was exceptional and it was a positive memorable stay!

Unfortunately whilst in Perth I was taken ill with appendicitis, necessitating an operation in Royal Perth Hospital and a delayed departure.

The staff at the hotel could not have been more helpful and supportive to my wife and myself during a short stay.

We found the restaurant flexible and unpretentious, the food delicious and the staff friendly.

In general the atmosphere is relaxed but help is there if needed.

A wonderful feeling of calmness in the Hotel.

My husband is from the USA, has been in Australia for 6 years. He is fussy with food. Absolutely impressed with the quality of food in the restaurant. My husband states that the meal that we ate last night was the best that he has had since been in Australia.

So compliments to the chef.

Breakfast was also great.

We recently stayed at Miss Maud in Perth on Saturday the 14th June. I just wanted to say how impressed we were with everything. The staff and service all round was excellent, restaurant great food great room.
